Lethbridge Police Investigate Second Sudden Death in Less Than a Week

Lethbridge, Alberta — Authorities in Lethbridge are investigating a suspicious death after a body was discovered in a motel room on Saturday.

Police have confirmed that the circumstances surrounding the death are considered suspicious, though no further details have been provided as the investigation is still in its early stages.

This marks the second sudden death in the city since Christmas Day. On Friday, police announced they were looking into the death of a 13-year-old boy whose body was found on Boxing Day near a business in the city’s south side.

While officials have not yet classified the boy’s death as suspicious, an autopsy is scheduled to be conducted in Calgary next week to determine the cause.

Investigations into both incidents remain ongoing, and police have not indicated whether the two cases are connected.
