Toronto police are probing the incident that occurred when an excavator ran amok early Tuesday morning into a bank in North York. The excavator crashed into an ATM of a TD Bank located close to Bathurst Street and Lawrence Avenue West and stole it, causing damage around 4:26 a.m.
The authorities reported that the crash caused “significant damage” to the bank building. The police have not yet released the amount of money stolen from the ATM, but they are actively working on the case.
