Toronto police are investigating after an excavator crashed into a bank in North York early Tuesday morning, leading to the theft of an ATM. The incident occurred around 4:26 a.m. at a TD Bank located near Bathurst Street and Lawrence Avenue West.
Authorities reported that the crash caused “significant damage” to the bank building. Police have not yet disclosed the amount of money stolen from the ATM, but they are actively working on the case.
